Yummy Yummy

In Glen Innes Primary we have been learning to bring and eat healthy lunches. On the 30th of August we have been making sandwiches to show that we are being healthy and strong. Mr Naidoo hosted the 5+a day program for every child. Every teacher came around every table giving every child an ingredient to put in their sandwich. The ingredients were tuna mixed with chopped up apples, grated cheese, carrots and also ham. There were rhymes like 5+a day that's the healthy way, also there were pictures of people eating all of their veges and fruits.

When we were making our sandwiches I added cheese with carrot which was followed by ham. After I gobbled up my sandwich my group and I cleaned our table and put them away. After that we went and sat down because we were so filled up with sandwiches. Later that day I felt hungry, so when I got home I made me another sandwich but this time it was two times bigger than the last  one.

Speech Day

We have been learning to write and present our speeches. We had to persuade the audience to think our way. The Olympics was our theme.
The criteria we had to use to write and present our speech included, an introduction, delivery, content and our conclusion.

When I got up to say my speech I thought it was great because I had appropriate words and interesting sentences, but I really think I could have done better. I could have put a lot of information in my speech and looked at the audience more. When I was finished reading my speech I hurried back to my desk to put in more information because I did not want to be in detention. Later it was my turn to read my speech when I started to read I was a little bit nervous. When I finished I thought it was incredible because I put a lot of information in the end so the audience could be happy and learn something, so they could remember instead of forgetting. At the the end I was very proud of my self because I made it to the final. Lastly I had fun reading my speech but I came last.

Hi Enosi, do you remember this?

It was two years ago. You were auditioning for GIs Got Talent.

I don't think you got into the finals but I do remember that you had a lot of fun.
